Dr. Dan G. Fein Promoted
Daniel G. Fein, MD, has assumed the positions of Clinical Director of In-Patient Pulmonary Services for Montefiore Medical Center along with Wakefield Site Director for Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine and will serve as Director of the Wakefield medical ICU (MICU), effective July 3, 2020.
Dr. Manoj Lal Karwa Appointed Director of MICU Weiler
As Director of the Medicine ICU (MICU), Manoj Lal Karwa, MBBS, oversees a 14-bed MICU at Weiler (Einstein), where he is responsible for all attending physicians, house staff and Pas. He is also responsible for guideline and protocol development. Dr. Karwa, an Associate Professor, Department of Medicine (Critical Care) and Assistant Professor, The Saul R. Korey Department of Neurology, also is Site Director of Critical Care of the Weiler division, responsible for overseeing all critical care operations. Previously, he was the associate director of the MICU at Wakefield.
Dr. Danish Malik Appointed Director of Weiler CSICU
As Director of the Cardothracic ICU at Weiler Hospital, Danish Malik, MD, oversees a 12-bed CSICU, and is responsible for all attending physicians, house staff and PAs in the ICU. He is also responsible for guideline and protocol development. Dr. Malik was recruited to Montefiore in 2018.
